To satisfy the demands of the people living in
Brummana, the municipality has been extensively involved in many
works and projects where only the full interchange of ideas between
municipality and people has lead to the success of the work and has
given to the municipality a thorough knowledge of the region
sustained by its wide contacts throughout its president Mr. Pierre
Ashkar. We have to mention that all works and projects are on
international standards by producing tender documents and execution
drawings.
On the other hand, the municipality is undertaking a number of
medium and long-term projects to add to the city’s charm and image
and to assure its position as a main tourist destination in Lebanon
all year round.
It is useful here to mention that the Ministry Of Public Works has
undertaken the construction of an Express Road linking Brummana to
Beirut. The Project consists of building a highway with no exit
whereas its length from Dora to Brummana is 5.8 km with a width of
20 meters. The Express Road’s outcome makes Brummana a Beirut
